Job Purpose:
Manage and support local IT services in India and support local and remote staff along with back-end system administration in line with UK IT Department Policies and Processes
Key Measurable Objectives:
Objectives
1. Complete 97% of IT support tickets within 3 days.
2. Ensure all IT equipment is maintained according to current IT maintenance and replacement schedules.
3. Ensure system availability of 99.9% minimum
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Provide end user IT support to all Indian staff.
2. Ensure all Oliver IT Cyber Security standards are maintained.
3. Procure and maintain IT equipment software and services suitable for the IT demands in India.
4. Provide back-end system administration on cloud and on-prem services.
5. Provide Syteline ERP Support development and customisation
Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Provide end-user training on Windows MS Office and other common software systems.
2. Support the local usage of Syteline ERP including implementation of new processes.
3. Assist UK IT dept in local implementations of system wide upgrades.
4. Suggest enhancements to software and hardware systems.
Behavioural Skills:
1. Ability to work remotely from other Oliver IT staff.
2. Ability to prioritise workloads often under pressure.
3. Methodical approach to solving IT issues.
4. Willingness to learn new technology and systems and confidence to make suggestions for improvements.
Qualifications Skills Tech Expertise:
Graduate in IT related discipline. Strong Hardware Windows Desktop and Microsoft applications support skills. Confident dealing with IT suppliers on both a commercial and technical level. Knowledge of M365 Windows Server SQL Server and virtualisation technologies. Strong Syteline ERP skills.
