Software Developer Application Engineer

We are now seeking a Software Developer for one of our clients.

Assignment description
-Work as a software developer supporting our application engineering teams in delivering systems to customers across Europe Asia Africa and Oceania.
- Partner with customer experts to configure applications according to their requirements.
- Design and implement efficient workflow integrations between SCADA/EMS/GMS systems and other IT/OT environments using modern interface and integration technologies.
- Prepare carry out and document test plans with customers to ensure solutions meet contractual and functional requirements.
- Support customers in learning and operating EMS/GMS functions within our systems.
- Help diagnose and resolve technical issues together with our technical teams.
- Contribute your expertise to proposal and tender work to enable highquality competitive bids.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills
- A Masters degree (or equivalent experience) in energy systems electrical engineering computer science or a related field.
- Fundamental understanding of power generation and transmission networks.
- Basic knowledge of SCADA systems.
- Experience with programming languages such as C C or FORTRAN.
- Ability and willingness to occasionally travel for customer work on occasions
- Strong analytical communication and collaboration skillsespecially in multicultural and crossfunctional environments.
- Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
