Senior Housekeeping Supervisor
For our client a reputable leasure hotel in Co. Cork we are seeking an experienced and responsible
professional for the position of Senior Housekeeping Supervisor.
The role reports directly to the Accommodation Manager and involves overseeing a team of
approximately 10 full-time and part-time team members within the housekeeping department.
The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness presentation and guest
satisfaction are consistently maintained.
Key responsibilities:
Supervising and coordinating daily operations of the accommodation/housekeeping department
Conducting detailed room inspections to ensure compliance with brand and quality standards
Leading motivating and supporting a team of around 10 staff members
Preparing staff schedules and managing daily rostering
Coordinating maintenance issues and liaising with the maintenance department to ensure timely
resolution
Monitoring room status VIP arrivals and special guest requests
Managing linen inventory ordering supplies and controlling stock levels
Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and hotel procedures
Assisting with recruitment onboarding and training of housekeeping staff
Handling guest requests and resolving complaints in a professional and timely manner
Supporting the Accommodation Manager
The ideal candidate should have:
23 years of previous experience as an Accommodation Supervisor in a hotel environment
Experience in a 3-4 star property is highly preferred
Proven team leadership and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Good level of English and a guest-oriented mindset
What we offer:
Competitive hourly rate of 15 15.50 (approximatelyannually)

On-site staff accommodation available at 90 per week (utilities included) for private room
