The Hilton Cleveland Downtown is looking for their next Lead Cook to be part of an exciting new venture at The Club at Hilton!

Connected to the Convention Center its just steps from Clevelands key nightlife & entertainment district. The Hilton Cleveland Downtown provides a dynamic and professional setting for team members to grow their hospitality careers. The ideal Cook candidate is a motivated culinary professional with at least one year of professional cooking experience preferably within high-end or fine dining environments. Experience with breakfast preparation and production is highly preferred as this role plays a key part in supporting The Clubs elevated morning dining offerings.
This individual thrives in a premium guestfocused setting and understands the importance of consistency presentation and refined service. They are flexible dependable and able to work independently supporting the daily culinary operations of this new private club experience.
Full-Time
Pay Rate: $21.80 per hour
Shift Pattern: AM including weekends and holidays
What will I be doing
As a Cook you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Prepare and execute elevated high-quality dishes in alignment with The Clubs premium dining standards
Support and guide culinary team members providing direction training and oversight during service.
Execute breakfast production efficiently including egg cookery griddling and other morning menu techniques
Maintain exceptional food presentation and quality ensuring all menu items meet brand expectations.
Coordinate with leadership and service teams to ensure smooth communication and efficient service flow.
Monitor food inventory levels assist with ordering and reduce waste through proper rotation and storage.
Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation standards including proper handling labeling and cleanliness of all food areas.
Work independently when required demonstrating strong decision-making and timemanagement skills.
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal state local and company regulations
