Job Summary

Role & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Senior Survey Programmer to join our VoC research and insights team. The individual will be responsible for programming the firms core and custom questionnaires into Confirmit maintaining consistency and quality between questionnaires and providing leadership in improving the operational efficiency of questionnaire design and this role you will also be crucial in designing building and deploying complex online surveys that gather critical data directly from key business decision makers at Buyside firms. You will collaborate closely with various internal teams to translate research objectives into engaging and error-free survey experiences.

Principal responsibilities include:

Survey Scripting & Development: Accurately program complex questionnaires using Confirmit/ Forsta. This includes implementing intricate skip patterns conditional logic randomization piping and quota management.
Technical Implementation: Implement custom features and enhance the user interface (UI) using programming languages like JavaScript jQuery HTML and CSS.
Data Management: Assist with data collection monitoring troubleshooting technical issues during fielding and ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively within a team environment providing consultative feedback on survey design for optimal programming efficiency and data layout. Participate in project kick-off meetings and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders across firms business units Fielding and operations teams to clarify technical requirements and project timelines.
Process Improvement: Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to survey programming and recommend innovative solutions to programming challenges

Qualifications Experience and Skills

Education: Bachelors degree in engineering computer science or a related field
Experience: Proven experience of more than 5 years in market research survey programming using platforms such as Confirmit Qualtrics Decipher/Forsta; experience in a client-facing role will be an advantage
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of web programming languages including HTML CSS and JavaScript/jQuery
Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills strong analytical and logical thinking abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines and a proactive team-player mindset.
Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel for data handling and reporting.
Data skills: Familiarity with statistical analysis software such as SPSS or programming languages like Python or R for data processing
