Position OverviewClient is seeking an Apparel Product Line Manager II for the North America Express Lane within the Apparel and Kids organization. This is a backfill position requiring prior Client experience.
The role supports all stages of the product creation process driving product and operational excellence from initial brief through commercialization and production. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills trend awareness and the ability to navigate systems efficiently.
This position offers high potential for extension and may convert to a full-time role. Relocation candidates are welcome; however travel expenses are not covered and the candidate must be available to start within two weeks notice.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Creation & Line ManagementSupport all stages of the apparel product creation process at speed.
Drive product and operational excellence from brief to final product approval.
Lead sub-segments of the apparel line from concept through commercialization and production.
Ensure on-time delivery aligned with critical dates product specifications sustainability performance and profitability goals.
Monitor progress against objectives and support the line delivery to market.
Sample & System ManagementManage sample handling including unpacking samples and preparing racks for meetings (must be able to lift up to 30 lbs).
Ensure accuracy of information in key systems tools and trackers.
Navigate internal systems efficiently and quickly adapt to new tools.
Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with Design Development Merchandising and Brand teams to create consumer-centric apparel stories.
Foster strong partnerships across the Client Apparel organization.
Provide clear communication to guide cross-functional teams through critical checkpoints.
Consumer & Marketplace InsightsHelp uncover consumer and marketplace insights to inform impactful product briefs.
Maintain strong awareness of current apparel trends and product direction.
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiables)Previous Client experience required.
Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
2 years of product merchandising retail or related experience.
Strong project management experience (retail physical or digital projects).
Ability to quickly learn and navigate systems effectively.
Sample management experience.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Strong knowledge of current trends and apparel.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
