Job Summary

Job Title: Holiday Club Playworker
Location: Eclipse Leisure Centre Knowle green Staines upon thames TW18 1AJ 
Operational Hours: 8.30 - 17.30 During the Easter Holidays
Work Dates Available: Monday 30th March to Friday 10th April (excluding Bank Holidays & Weekends)

Other work dates: We will also be running during all future School Holidays (May Half term Summer & October Half Term)
Work Hours: 8.30 - 17.30 
NB: More work available in future school holidays if desired
Hours: Week Days: 8.30 - 17.30
Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour (plus holiday pay)
Contracts Available: Casual Holiday Club Only

 Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute structured and exciting activities that encourage maximum participation such as multi-sports games arts and crafts structured play and more ensuring they are age-appropriate.
  • Follow all Health and Safety protocols and policies including signing in and out processes.
  • Provide refreshments for the children.

  • Create an inclusive and fun atmosphere for the children in our care from picking them up from school to safely delivering them back to their parents or caregivers.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and execute structured and exciting activities that encourage maximum participation such as multi-sports games arts and crafts structured play and more.
  • Ensure all activities are age and skill-appropriate while prioritizing safety including the proper use of equipment and space.
  • Provide refreshments for the kids while maintaining our high standards of hygiene and health and safety.
  • Set up and pack away play spaces moving furniture and play equipment as needed.
  • Follow all Health and Safety protocols and policies and keep all relevant documentation including accident and incident forms up to date and completed as needed.
  • Ensure proper sign-in and sign-out processes and procedures are followed for all children in our care.
  • Communicate professionally and authentically with team members parents children and schools. - Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks for all equipment and kit.
  • Take the lead in championing health and safety providing first aid where necessary.
  • Keep all information and documents related to the children in our care confidential and secure.
  • Inspire our team members and the children in our care to have fun be active and lead an active lifestyle.
