- During your internship you will actively support the planning and execution of exciting research projects in the field of additive manufacturing (L-PBF).
- A key focus will be on the system integration of an automated data workflow (Monitoring System).
- You will also work on the development and optimization of relevant materials to improve their properties.
- Furthermore you will independently plan and conduct experiments analyzing and measuring the products in terms of microstructure density and topography.
- Finally you will provide valuable support in beam diagnostics (caustics).
Qualifications :
- Education: advanced studies in the field of Engineering Mechatronics Computer Science Electrical Engineering or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge: strong Python skills (including database systems data workflows and data analysis libraries); system administration experience (Shell); proficiency in software testing (Pytest) and version control (Git); knowledge of Linux and Microsoft systems; practical knowledge of additive manufacturing
- Personality and Working Practice: you excel at communicating effectively as a team-oriented player while maintaining a structured and independent work style
- Work Routine: your on-site presence is required
- Languages: fluent in German and English

Duration: 6 months (confirmation of mandatory internship required)
