Job Summary

As a Talent Acquisition Officer you will participate within the Talent Acquisition team to attracting and recruiting talent for our Organisation. You will gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in sourcing recruitment and employer branding.

Your responsibilities:

  • Participate in the full recruitment and sourcing lifecycle including CV screening candidate communication interview coordination and contract administration.
  • Proactively engage with potential candidates through online platforms professional networks and databases with a particular focus on under-represented groups (e.g. women in STEM).
  • Contribute to promoting CERNs employer brand across multiple channels including social media job boards and career fairs.
  • Generate reports and analyse recruitment and sourcing data to identify trends insights and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Your profile:

  • Knowledge of basic recruitment & sourcing principles and techniques.
  • Knowledge of content creation and social media tools will be an asset.

Skills:

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
  • Proactive with a strong willingness to learn and contribute to team objectives.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Spoken and written English with a commitment to learn French.

Eligibility criteria:

  • By the application deadline you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in HR Business Administration Psychology (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelors or Masters degree.
  • You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
  • Applicants without University degree are not eligible.
  • Applicants with a PhD are not eligible.

Contract duration: 24 months with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
