JobTitle:Maintenance Technician

Department:Maintenance

Position Summary:Responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance to ensure the facility equipment and systemsoperatesafely and efficiently on IMG Academys campus. This role troubleshoots and repairs mechanical electrical plumbing and basic building issues supporting a clean safe and well-maintained environment for student-athletes teammembersand guests.

KeyResponsibilities:

Perform routine repairs and maintenance on building systems equipment and facilities

Perform carpentry work paint move furniture repair locks minorplumbingand electrical repairs

Conduct preventative maintenance checks to reduce downtime and extend equipment life

Maintainaccuraterecords of work performed parts used and equipment status

Respond promptly to maintenance requests work orders and urgent repairs

Maintain tools and equipment in good workingconditionsandalways follow safety procedures

Assistwith general building upkeep including painting fixtures walls flooring and minor carpentry work

Monitor facility systems and report major repair needs to leadershipas appropriate

Assistinmonitoringall work being performed by outside contractors and vendors

Keep work areas organized safe and compliant with safety regulations

Maintain a professionalandcourteousattitudewith all student-athletesteam membersguestscontractorsandvendors

Other duties as assignedbymanagement

Qualifications:

Valid Florida Drivers License or the ability to obtain one

Previousmaintenance or facilities experience preferred; experience in hospitality commercial or residential environments a plus.

Basic knowledge of electrical mechanical plumbing and/or HVAC systems.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.

Commitment to safety efficiency and quality work.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Ability to lift carry movepushand pull equipment or boxes up to 50lbs

Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift

Ability to climb ladders and work at high elevations

Ability to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.

Ability to work on various indoor and outdoor surfaces including grass turf courts all weather

Ability tooperateoffice equipment such as computers

Requires manual dexterity to use andoperateequipment and tools

Ability towork days nights weekends and holidays as needed
