In materials management we manage all US selling products that are produced in US Canada and Mexico. We have three divisions Biscuit Confections and Cliff. Six pillars Confections Cliff Savory (Biscuit) Cookies (biscuit) Oreo & MUPS (biscuit) and newly created pillar cakes and pastries.
Responsible for direct raw and pack materials for your SKUs. Will run material forecasts weekly based on new weekly production schedule. Responsible for setting up replenishment strategies for materials/vendor. Most of the printed packaging you will have to make to forecast strategy meet with the vendors weekly and decide on what future print runs are needed. There are numerous things to take into consideration. Will also need to expedite material when needed.
Responsible for covering production while keeping material inventory low to minimize any material waste down the road. Work with cross functional team members on commercialization projects (graphics change formula change seasonal item productivity change) to ensure timeline is met while mitigating material waste.
Also responsible for unique ingredients in one SKU or the same family of SKUs.
You will develop manage and direct inventory replenishment strategies for raw materials & packaging. Goal is to optimize the balance between supply availability inventory investment and risk of obsolescence. Develop execute and deliver RPW inventory reduction initiatives with plants and vendors. Execute all commercialization and promotional activities within the Materials Management function. Full engagement and interaction with cross-functional team members.
How you will contribute
You will:
Develop short- and long-term materials planning for items producedinternally and externally
Meet your KPIs including (but not limited to) raw/pack inventory levels compliance to schedule(CTS) material write off
Perform root-cause analysis forcontinuous improvement of the plan
Maintain the integrity of system data and information for supply/materialsplanning
Partner with procurement for material optimization
Support and implement improvements in the planning arena to improve customer fillrate inventory targets and waste reduction to meet company KPIs
Work with cross functional team members such as procurement operations spend area leads and R&D. Able to use resources for quick material issue resolution.
Provide material inventory scenarios based on information such as excess inventory shelf-life expiration dates decrease/increase in forecast and with similar information.
Drive productivity agenda for your brands/categories and unlocking R&P planning opportunities (waste replenishment etc.) in line with CS&L deliverables.
Contribute and be part of HPO/IL6S journey continuous improvement.

Experience in FMCG/CPG environment preferably food or other fast moving dynamicindustry where shelf life is a constraint
Experience in an IBP/S&OP environment
Able to influence cross-functional teams working on the key priorities and improving theplan
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and able to understand and interpret data
Team player who can work with many other functions on a daily basis

A bachelors degree.
Hands-on experience with SAP S4Hana or O9.
Travel requirements: Less Than 10%
Work schedule: Hybrid - Work from office 3 days per week.
