Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Our Consumer Lending team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Ortigas as a Legal Officer.

In this role you will collate and evaluate mortgage collateral documents for foreclosure filing and ensure accurate timely endorsement of accounts within prescribed turnaround times. You will support the Legal Services Group throughout the foreclosure process while ensuring strict compliance with established credit policies and guidelines.

What the role will entail

  • Conduct final collection efforts prior to endorsing accounts to the Legal Services Group
  • Review collateral documents and legal endorsement memos to ensure completeness accuracy and proper documentation
  • Monitor legal accounts with expired appraisals and facilitate timely renewal and recording of results
  • Review petitions for foreclosure and bid letters and endorse for sign-off of the authorized bank representative
  • Track legal expenses from petition filing through issuance of the certificate of sale
  • Monitor booking of accounts to ROPA collate required documents and coordinate submission to ROPA Service Delivery

What were looking for

  • Holder of a Bachelors degree
  • At least two years of collections experience in consumer loan products preferably within a bank or financial institution with proven people management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills collaborative mindset and a customer-focused approach to issue resolution and retention
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills including data gathering problem-solving and sound judgment in risk assessment and decision-making
  • Results-driven and highly accountable with integrity strong organizational skills and the ability to lead teams toward achieving goals despite challenges
