Roloverzicht:

Bij Huntsman zijn we momenteel op zoek naar een Plant Technician (Mechanical) om ons fantastische team in Rotterdam te versterken. Een Plant Technician is een mechanisch onderhoudsspecialist welke verantwoordelijk is voor het eerste-lijnsonderhoud in de fabriek en ervoor zorg dient te dragen dat de conditie van het mechanische deel van de installatie optimaal is.

Verantwoordelijkheden van de functie:

• Fysiek inspecteren van de installatie

• Het uitvoeren van maandelijkse preventieve inspectierondes opgesteld uit M4 notifications en deze op tijd afmelden in SAP.

• Afwijkingen pro-actief registreren d.m.v. het aanmaken van notifications in SAP

• Afwijkingen beoordelen op risico en urgentie en terugkoppelen aan teamlead/gate keeper

• 1e aanspreekpunt voor smeertechnicus en vibration monitoring firma als zij afwijkingen constateren en hierop de juiste acties uitzetten.

• Mechanische werkzaamheden met een doorlooptijd van minder dan 4 uur uitvoeren (inclusief tijdelijke reparaties).

• Het begeleiden van collegas uit de werkplaatsen en van buitenfirmas binnen de fabrieksgrenzen.

• Nieuwe (FFPA) storings notifications beoordelen eventueel aanvullen met juiste analyse en prioriteit bespreken met productie.

• Tijdelijke noodreparaties uitvoeren i.o.m. AMT en Maintenance lead.

• Aanspreekpunt voor productie met betrekking tot opstarten van kritieke equipments en aanpassingen in de POM.

• Trainen van operators naar behoefte van productie.

• Grijpvoorraad beheer.

Ervaring en competenties:

• Technische kennis:

• Mechanische systemen en apparatuur: kennis van de werking en onderhoud van machines pompen compressoren ventilatoren vacuumsystemen koelsystemen en andere mechanische apparatuur.

• Installatie en onderhoud: vaardigheden in het installeren repareren en onderhouden van mechanische systemen inclusief het oplossen van storingen.

• Smeertechnieken: kennis van smeermiddelen en smeersystemen om de levensduur van machines te verlengen en de prestaties te verbeteren.

• Rotating equipment: begrip van roterende machines zoals motoren pompen en compressoren en hun onderhoudsbehoeften.

• Pijpleiding en leidingwerk: kennis van leidinginstallaties en hun afdichtingen.

• Materiaalkennis: Inzicht in de eigenschappen van verschillende materialen (metalen kunststoffen enz.) en hun toepassingen in mechanische systemen.

• Storingzoeken en diagnostiek: het vermogen om storingen te diagnostificeren technische problemen te identificeren en op te lossen.

• Organisatorische kennis:

• Veiligheidsnormen: Kennis van de veiligheidseisen en voorschriften die van toepassing zijn in een industriële omgeving zoals het dragen van pbms en het naleven van risicomanagement

• Preventief onderhoud: Het mede ontwikkelen en uitvoeren van preventieve onderhoudsplannen om ongeplande stilstand te minimaliseren en de efficientie van de plant te verbeteren.

• Plannen en prioriteren: Het vermogen om onderhoudswerkzaamheden te plannen prioriteiten te stellen op basis van urgentie en effectief te werken binnen de tijdslimieten en budgetten van de organisatie.

• Procedurele kennis:

• Storingzoeken en diagnostiek: Kennis van methoden en technieken voor het opsporen van storingen en het vermogen om storingen te diagnosticeren technische problemen te identificeren en op te lossen volgens vastgestelde procedures.

• Installatie en onderhoud: Het volgen van specifieke procedures voor het installeren onderhouden en repareren van mechanische systemen.

• Onderhoudsschemas en documentatie: Kennis van de procedures voor het documenteren van onderhoudswerkzaamheden en het volgen van onderhoudsschemas

• Algemene vaardigheden:

• Probleemoplossing: Het vermogen om technische en operationele problemen te analyseren en op te lossen zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband.

• Communicatie: Effectieve communicatievaardigheden om duidelijk met collegas managers en andere afdelingen samen te werken.

• Teamwork: Samenwerken met andere technici engineers en operators om de efficientie en effectiviteit van het werk te waarborgen.

• Kritisch denken: Het vermogen om kritisch na te denken over situaties alternatieven te overwegen en de beste oplossing te kiezen.

• Flexibiliteit en aanpassingsvermogen: Het vermogen om zich aan te passen aan veranderende omstandigheden en nieuwe technologieen in een dynamische werkomgeving.

• Tijdmanagement: Het effectief beheren van tijd en middelen om werk op tijd af te ronden zonder concessies te doen aan de kwaliteit.

At Huntsman we are currently looking for a Plant Technician (Mechanical) to strengthen our fantastic team in Rotterdam. A Plant Technician is a mechanical maintenance specialist responsible for firstline maintenance in the plant and ensuring that the mechanical condition of the installation remains optimal.

Role Responsibilities:

• Physically inspecting the installation

• Performing monthly preventive inspection rounds based on M4 notifications and closing them on time in SAP

• Proactively registering deviations by creating notifications in SAP

• Assessing deviations based on risk and urgency and reporting back to the team lead/gatekeeper

• Acting as the first point of contact for the lubrication technician and the vibration monitoring company when deviations are detected and initiating the appropriate actions

• Performing mechanical tasks with a lead time of less than 4 hours (including temporary repairs)

• Supervising colleagues from the workshops and external contractors within the plant boundaries

• Reviewing new (FFPA) breakdown notifications adding the correct analysis if needed and discussing priority with Production

• Carrying out temporary emergency repairs in consultation with AMT and the Maintenance Lead

• Acting as the point of contact for Production regarding the startup of critical equipment and adjustments in the POM

• Training operators based on Production needs

• Managing the spareparts inventory

Experience and Competencies:

Technical knowledge:

• Mechanical systems and equipment: knowledge of the operation and maintenance of machines pumps compressors fans vacuum systems cooling systems and other mechanical equipment

• Installation and maintenance: skills in installing repairing and maintaining mechanical systems including troubleshooting

• Lubrication techniques: knowledge of lubricants and lubrication systems to extend machine life and improve performance

• Rotating equipment: understanding of rotating machinery such as motors pumps and compressors and their maintenance needs

• Piping and pipework: knowledge of piping installations and their seals

• Material knowledge: understanding of the properties of different materials (metals plastics etc.) and their applications in mechanical systems

• Troubleshooting and diagnostics: ability to diagnose faults identify technical problems and resolve them

Organizational knowledge:

• Safety standards: knowledge of safety requirements and regulations in an industrial environment such as wearing PPE and adhering to risk management

• Preventive maintenance: contributing to the development and execution of preventive maintenance plans to minimize unplanned downtime and improve plant efficiency

• Planning and prioritizing: ability to plan maintenance tasks set priorities based on urgency and work effectively within organizational time and budget constraints

Procedural knowledge:

• Troubleshooting and diagnostics: knowledge of methods and techniques for identifying faults and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues according to established procedures

• Installation and maintenance: following specific procedures for installing maintaining and repairing mechanical systems

• Maintenance schedules and documentation: knowledge of procedures for documenting maintenance activities and following maintenance schedules

General skills:
