We are renowned for complex surgery with our Critical Care Complex being the only one of its type in the northern suburbs of Melbourne providing intensive and high-dependency care post-surgery.

The Theatre Floor Coordinator is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the Operating Suite maintaining a cohesive work and communication network with Perioperative staff and the wider clinical team.
About you:
Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Post Graduate Qualification in Perioperative Nursing
Recent experience as a Floor Coordinator desirable
Sound clinical knowledge demonstrated leadership and decision making skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Knowledge of National Standards and the Accreditation process
Knowledge of Acron standards
A high performer who is patient focused motivated and thrives working in a team
The Role:
Compliment and support management within the multidisciplinary department
Responsible for staffing allocations replacement and roster preparation
Take on operational responsibilities and supporting the theatre managers
Promote excellence in clinical practice and safe patient care
Provide leadership and support to the nursing and support services in the Operating Theatres
