He kōrero mō te tūranga The Role

In this position you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Financial Accountants with the month-end process and management of accounts and financial detailed reporting analysis and compliance support and reinforce the organisations values of integrity and diversity.

A highly skilled professionalwith excellent work ethics high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Your professionalism positive attitude and excellent communication skills are some of your key attributes.

What you will need for this role:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting and progress toward CA/CPA accreditation
  • 1 to 2 years of previous accounting or finance experience
  • General ledger and statutory returns (GST PAYE ACC)
  • Experience in reporting/data analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft skills especially with Excel
  • Well-developed analytical skills
  • Astute communication skills and ability to work cohesively and effectively with other staff members at different levels
  • Commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi and comfortable working for an Iwi provider.
