Our People & Change service line helps clients shape resilient inclusive organisations that are future-fit. We focus on the human side of transformation designing the organisations of tomorrow unlocking the potential of people and teams and enabling change that sticks.
We work across a broad range of sectors delivering work at the intersection of three core proposition areas:
- Organisation Design: Defining and shaping structures capabilities decision-making models and operating models using industry leading frameworks.
- Organisation Development: Building enduring workforce capability leadership behaviours culture and employee value propositions to sustain long-term performance.
- Change Management: Leading people-centric change through our in-house approach aligning to the ADKAR model and best practice behavioural insights.
Weve recently supported clients with challenges such as:
- Shaping purpose-led EVP strategies to attract retain and motivate employees
- Assessing and building capability at scale to embed transformation across organisations
- Co-designing cultural transformation programmes in digitally disrupted sectors
- Crafting and delivering complex change programmes fostering stakeholder buy-in at every step of the journey
- Conducting organisational diagnostics and redesigning structures to support cost reduction innovation and inclusion

As we continue to grow and respond to our ever-changing client needs we become increasingly more agile in the way we build our consulting teams. Therefore we are looking to grow our associate network to enable us to successfully do this.
We can offer you interesting and varied engagements without the wider commitments of a permanent position. You will playa fundamental role in helping our clients turn strategy into action.
We only recruit the very best and we are focused on maintaining our high-quality bar thus we put all our associates through an assessment process. We recognise that there are many experienced consultants who are looking for interesting engagements on a contract basis.

As an associate you will:
- Lead workstreams or projects within complex transformation programmes
- Shape high-quality client deliverables and interventions across one or more of our core proposition areas:
- Organisation Design (e.g. org diagnostics structure design role definition)
- Change Management (e.g. stakeholder analysis readiness comms & engagement behavioural change)
- Organisation Development (e.g. capability build leadership development culture transformation)
- Leverage data and insight to shape evidence-based recommendations
- Proactively identify and use tools templates and methodologies to fulfill programme objectives
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and Moorhouse consultants
- Represent Moorhouse in a client-facing role
- Contribute to a culture of sustainability and embrace Moorhouses social responsibility by integrating responsible practices and upholding ethical standards and awareness in everyday work.
Essential skills
- 6 years of consulting experience whether this is from a big consulting firm boutique consultancy or experience gained in delivering transformational change in industry (we are looking for associates with different levels of seniority so if your experience is a good fit get in touch!)
- Strong track record of shaping and delivering people-focused change and transformational programmes in complex environments
- Demonstrated experience delivering work in change organisation design or organisational development such as:
- Organisational development strategy and plans
- Capability / training needs analysis
- Organisational culture assessment and/or transformation
- Leadership development solutions
- Organisation structure people processes and competencies
- Competency framework design and/or job families
- Workforce planning
- Change management strategy or plans
- A passion for building and nurturing strong relationships both with clients and colleagues
- Experience of effectively managing and collaborating with senior client stakeholders
- Experience of leading / managing consultant / client delivery teams on key engagements and accounts
- A proactive self-starting mindset with the ability to manage ambiguity
- An industry-recognised qualification (e.g. PROSCI CIPD coaching / psychometrics) is desirable
