Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Treasury Director you will create impact within our Finance Team working closely with the Senior Treasury Manager and a Treasury Associate based in London alongside occasional interaction with Finance teams in Mexico Brazil Japan and this role youll support the smooth running of our treasury operations ensuring accurate cash visibility efficient fund movements and reliable financial records.
Please note that this will initially be a full-time six-month fixed-term contract. During this time youll take on a hands-on role with early exposure to international finance supported by structured training and regular one-to-one development meetings. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Update daily banking positions and record transactions in our system (Sage).
Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Update cash receipt positions throughout the day.
Execute treasury fund transfers.
Record treasury transactions daily in the Treasury Management System.
Support the administration of the TMS and banking platforms.
Drive process improvements in reporting and interfaces between Sage and the TMS.
Administer the intercompany loan portfolio.
Qualifications
Finance-related educational background and/or prior internship experience within Finance.
Basic understanding of UK accounting principles including profit and loss and balance sheets.
Proficiency in working with financial data in spreadsheets.
When faced with a problem you collaborate with the appropriate people to evaluate different options and find practical solutions.
You embrace challenges as opportunities and seek feedback to enhance your skills.
