Vascular Surgery Opportunity Norwalk and Danbury Connecticut

NuvanceNorthwell Health Fairfield County (60 miles from New York City)

NuvanceNorthwell Health the Northern Region of Northwell Health spanning Connecticut and New York is seeking a board-certified vascular surgeon to join our established and growing vascular surgery program in Norwalk and Danbury CT. Coverage is structured and collaborative allowing surgeons to build a strong practice while supporting system-wide growth without excessive commuting.

The Practice

Our vascular program offers:

State-of-the-art hybrid operating rooms
Dedicated block time and excellent OR support staff
A high-volume vascular laboratory
The only IAC-accredited vein center in Connecticut
An office-based lab
Established and growing referral base with strong regional demand
Opportunities for full spectrum of open and endovascular practice
Support for clinical translational and basic science research

Academic & Teaching Opportunities
Danbury Hospital also hosts a freestanding 6-year general surgery residency including a dedicated research year. Teaching medical students and residents is an integral part of the program with academic affiliations that include:

Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell
Yale School of Medicine
University of Vermont College of Medicine
