The successful Finance Manager will join a well-organised operations team that includes HR admissions facilities and administration. You will report directly to the School Business Director and play a major role in ensuring the financial health of the school. This is a school that values precision transparency and accountability.

The Role:
As Finance Manager you will oversee the schools finance function ensuring accurate financial reporting budget management compliance and forward financial planning. This includes managing accounts payable accounts receivable payroll processes month-end reconciliation audit preparation and financial forecasting. You will prepare reports for governors senior leaders and external auditors.

The role requires a combination of technical financial expertise and strategic insight. You will support leaders in setting budgets analysing expenditure identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring best value. You will also oversee financial policies ensure compliance with regulatory standards manage software systems and supervise finance staff.

Requirements:
Professional finance qualification (AAT ACCA CIMA or equivalent) desirable
Experience within a school or charity finance environment is beneficial
Strong financial management and reporting skills
Excellent IT and data-handling skills
Accuracy reliability and strong organisational ability
Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
