About the Role

The Bookkeeping Manager will oversee and manage a growing team of remote bookkeepers while maintaining strong technical expertise in online bookkeeping. This role is both hands-on and leadership-focused requiring someone who can ensure quality control delegate effectively and keep operations running smoothly. This is a key leadership position with long-term growth potential as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

Develop customize and manage the Shopify platform to ensure a high-performing and user-friendly digital storefront.
Design and implement custom Shopify themes and functionalities that enhance the overall customer shopping experience.
Integrate essential third-party applications and APIs to streamline e-commerce operations and expand site capabilities.
Optimize website architecture for mobile responsiveness speed and search engine visibility to maximize online conversions.
Troubleshoot technical issues and perform regular maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure secure transactions.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio of successful e-commerce builds (Required).
Deep proficiency in web development languages including Liquid HTML CSS and JavaScript (Required).
Demonstrated ability to integrate third-party apps and manage complex API connections (Required).
Experience developing e-commerce solutions specifically tailored for the food and beverage industry (Preferred).
Strong independent problem-solving skills suitable for a remote independent contractor environment (Required)
