About the Role

Key Objectives

Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct virtual music lessons for individual students and groups across various skill levels.
- Develop customized lesson plans that incorporate theory technique and performance.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide detailed feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Utilize digital tools and platforms effectively to create an interactive and engaging learning environment.
- Encourage student participation in virtual recitals workshops and collaborative projects.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance progress and communications with students and parents.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in music education and virtual teaching.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Music Music Education or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience teaching music in an online or virtual setting.
- Strong proficiency in one or more musical instruments or vocal performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage students remotely.
- Familiarity with virtual teaching platforms (e.g. Zoom Google Classroom) and digital music tools.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Organized self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
