Job Summary

On behalf of our client we are seeking a Procurement & Stores Officer who will be responsible for protecting project margins through disciplined procurement and materials control.

Key Responsibilities

Develop approved supplier database with pricing benchmarks.
Conduct comparative analysis for major purchases.
Negotiate bulk or framework agreements where viable.
Process purchase orders aligned to approved budgets.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid delays.
Track price fluctuations and adjust procurement timing strategically.
Implement Goods Received Note (GRN) system.
Conduct regular stock reconciliation.
Prevent material wastage theft and over-ordering.
Provide procurement variance reports to finance.
Maintain audit-ready documentation.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management
Registered with PSPTB (Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board) Preferred
47 years procurement experience
Minimum 23 years in construction environment
Experience managing supplier negotiations and stock systems
