Job Summary

WWF-India is one of the largest organisations engaged in wildlife and nature conservation for over 50 years. We invite applications from candidates for the position of Conservation Products Designer (Wildlife & Nature Themed) to be based in our Delhi office.

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Merchandise Design Intern to help conceptualise and develop a new range of wildlife and nature-themed products. This role is ideal for someone passionate about conservation storytelling through design and creating meaningful products that support a cause.

Position: Conservation Products Designer (Wildlife & Nature Themed)

Duration: 56 Months
Type: Internship/Consultant (Part-time/Full-time as mutually agreed)
Location: New Delhi

Key Responsibilities:

Design original wildlife and nature-inspired artwork for merchandise (e.g. apparel accessories stationery eco-products).
Adapt and format artwork to fit various product specifications and print requirements.
Prepare production-ready files and mock-ups.
Liaise with vendors and manufacturers to ensure accurate colour material and design execution.
Review samples and coordinate refinements to achieve desired results.
Collaborate with internal teams to align designs with brand and mission.

Requirements

What Were Looking For:

Strong illustration and graphic design skills.
Proficiency in design tools (e.g. Adobe Illustrator Photoshop or similar).
Should understand wildlife art and anatomy to deliver accurate depiction.
Understanding of print production and product design considerations.
Ability to manage timelines and communicate effectively with external vendors.
