Custodian

• Clean the interior of buildings including floors carpet rugs windows and walls
• Disinfect commonly used items like desks door handles office tools and phones
• Vacuum sweep and mop floors
• Wash and clean windows and mirrors
• Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as but not limited to changing light bulbs replacing/tightening broken handles and holders.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels soap and toilet paper
• Monitor and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions
• Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 pounds
• Basic Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility to work evenings weekends or holidays when needed
• High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
