Key Activities / Tasks
- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team to ensure efficient and effective quality control processes within the workshop.
- Develop implement and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures to meet regulatory and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of workshop processes materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends root causes of defects and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments including production and engineering to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Train and mentor team members on quality assurance best practices and procedures.
- Prepare and present quality reports to management highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends regulations and technologies related to quality assurance.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the workshop team.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Quality Assurance Engineering Manufacturing or a related field. (Masters degree preferred)
Relevant certifications in quality management (e.g. ASQ Certified Quality Manager Six Sigma Black Belt) are a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control preferably in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma ISO standards) and tools.
Experience in conducting audits inspections and root cause analysis.
Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards relevant to the workshop environment.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
