ABOUT THE ROLE

• Assisting in analysing security events and incidents.

• Supporting the implementation and maintenance of cyber security controls.

• Participating in vulnerability assessments risk assessments and remediation activities.

• Contributing to security documentation policies and procedures.

• Working collaboratively with IT risk and business stakeholders.

• Learning and applying relevant Australian and International Cybersecurity frameworks

ABOUT YOU

• Recently completed (or about to complete) a Bachelors degree in: Cyber Security Information Technology Computer Science Information Systems or a related discipline

• Understand key cybersecurity standards and can apply them effectively.

• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate well with technical and business teams.

• Knowledge or experience in programming risk analysis and security best practices.

• Detail oriented curious and stay current on emerging threats.

AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ROLES & SECURITY

A Defence security clearance is required for this role. Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain baseline clearance.
