Job Summary
The Warehouse Assistant supports daily warehouse operations by receiving organizing storing and preparing materials and products for production and shipment. This role ensures accurate inventory handling safe material movement and timely support to manufacturing and shipping teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and shipments for accuracy and damage
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Pick pack and prepare materials for production and outgoing shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records (manual logs or ERP system)
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks carts and forklifts (if certified)
- Keep warehouse clean organized and compliant with safety standards
- Support production teams with material delivery as needed
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience a plus (not required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math and organization skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
Physical Requirements
- Lifting bending reaching and standing for long periods
- Handling boxes materials and equipment safely

- Team player with positive attitude
- Dependable and punctual
