Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Technician in Charlotte NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out post orders security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with licensing requirements and Allied Universal and/or site policies including carrying authorized equipment while maintaining a professional courteous presence.
- Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility parking areas and perimeter with attention to access points ATM and cash handling areas and other restricted locations.
- Document and report security-related activity hazards maintenance concerns and policy violations using required logs and reporting systems and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 Years Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be 21 Years of Age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
