We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following roles:
- AML Investigator
- Senior AML Investigator
- Team Manager
Your Impact: Driving Excellence
As subject matter experts on AML & Financial Crime this team will be centered around two core functions:
Customer Due Diligence (CDD): The Foundation of Trust
Your Responsibilities:
- Verification:You will review and verify customer identification documents to ensure legitimacy.
- Risk Assessment:You will conduct an initial risk assessment for each customer screening them against sanctions lists and watchlists determining their risk profile.
- Understanding Purpose:What the is nature and intended purpose of the customers relationship with the bank. What products do they need and why
Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD): The Deep Dive for High-Risk Cases
Your Responsibilities:
- Source of Wealth & Funds: You will investigate and gather evidence to understand where the customers overall wealth and the specific funds for their transactions come from. This could involve reviewing bank statements contracts or tax returns.
- In-depth Investigations: You will conduct deep-dive research to build a complete risk picture.
- Holistic Risk Analysis: Connecting all the dots. You will share your findings with a clear rationale for either approving denying or escalating the customer relationship.

We have a number of exciting and high impact opportunities with both permanent and12-month contractsavailable based out of our Melbourne Bendigo or Adelaide offices.
We offer flexible work options that put our people first. After the initial training and probation period youll enjoy a hybrid schedule made up of both days in the office and home.
What youll bring to the role
To thrive in these roles you are an accomplished Risk professional with a passion for AML / Financial Crime detection and investigation. Most importantly we are looking for:
- AML & Financial Crime Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in AML and Financial Crime risk ideally with a working knowledge of processes and procedures in financial institutions.
- Exceptional Communication: A strong written and verbal communication skillset where you can communicate to a wide variety of stakeholders and write formal reports.
- Confident Decision-Making: Confidence in making quick decisions and informed recommendations while able to determine when it is appropriate to escalate.
- Adaptability & Prioritisation: Experience working in a fast-paced high-volume role managing varied workloads and priorities.
- Dynamic Multitasking: Success in shifting between tasks and areas of focus throughout the day while maintaining both productivity and quality levels.
- Investigative & Proactive Mindset: An investigative mindset and a focus on proactive engagement to deliver above and beyond.
