Custodian Aina Haina

We are actively looking for a Full-Time Custodian to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of a shopping center. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation. Previous experience in housekeeping janitorial work or similar fields is advantageous we are open to providing training. Applicants should be ready to work in a fast-paced environment which involves walking standing for long duration and pushing carts.

Position: Full-Time Custodian

-Schedule:SundayMonday Thursday Friday and Saturday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Day off: Tuesday andWednesday:

-Compensation per hour: $17.50

-Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness in common areas of the facility

Communicate effectively and comprehend English

Interact with customers vendors and management

Clean and maintain various areas: sweeping mopping cleaning glass doors and mirrors maintaining restrooms and using a buffer machine in designated areas:office spacesparking lot and hallway/walk path.

Operate a vacuum for indoor cleaning

Clean restrooms and restock supplies

Collect and dispose of trash in designated areas

Lift trash from bins bend and navigate staircases

Stand and walk for long period of time

Push trash bins as required

-Skills/Qualifications:

Must pass a background check

High school diploma or GED preferred

Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but we are willing to train

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English

Strong public relations and communication skills

Applicants must be able to perform basic manual labor clean common areas frequently lift push pull and carry a minimum of 30lbs (up to 50lbs) and be capable of reaching overhead grasping objects bending kneeling crawling squatting climbing stretching walking and navigating stairs throughout their shifts.
