Job Description: Regional Manager Annuity
Role Overview
The Regional Manager (Annuity) is responsible for driving annuity business growth within the assigned region by developing sales strategies managing distribution partners and leading sales teams. The role requires strong product knowledge (Fixed Index RILA annuities) and hands-on experience in insurance/wealth sales.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Target Delivery
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve annuity/pension premium targets.
- Monitor performance metrics and ensure achievement of revenue and policy goals.
2. Team Leadership
- Lead train and motivate sales managers and field teams to meet KPIs.
- Drive productivity through performance coaching and capability building.
3. Distribution & Relationship Management
- Manage and strengthen relationships with bank partners brokers agents and financial advisors.
- Enhance channel partner productivity and increase regional market share.
4. Product Expertise & Training
- Act as the subject matter expert for annuity products (Fixed Variable Index RILA).
- Provide product training on features suitability regulatory guidelines and sales positioning.
5. Distribution Development
- Expand and develop the distribution network within the territory.
- Identify and onboard potential partners to grow the annuity business.
6. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to IRDAI or regional regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with all internal policies and audit requirements.
7. Market & Competitor Intelligence
- Track market trends competitor offerings and customer needs.
- Provide insights to support product and business strategy refinement.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 515 years in life insurance annuities pension or wealth management.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of annuity products and policy life cycle.
- Leadership: Proven experience managing sales teams and channel partners.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal negotiation and presentation skills.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Finance or related fields.
- Language: Fluency in the regional/local language.
