Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Perimeter Patrol Driver in Fort Worth TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and communications campus as an unarmed driving Patrol Officer. You will conduct routine patrols stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to calls for service with clear communication and customer-focused support. Using your valid drivers license you may patrol across multiple areas while documenting observations and escalating concerns. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Control access by verifying identification managing visitor check-in and/or badging processes and directing arrivals to the appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting events notifying appropriate personnel and assisting with follow-up actions as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces exterior grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity identify hazards and report maintenance or operational concerns.
- Monitor alarms cameras and/or other systems when assigned complete routine logs and reports and communicate status updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Have 6 months of Security Experience.
- Be 21 Years of Age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
