Job Summary
As a Senior Demand Planner at Resideo youll play a critical role in shaping the future of our business. Youll own the development and optimisation of customer- and productlevel forecasts turning data into clear insights that drive smarter decisions across the organisation.
In this role youll build advanced forecast models that draw on a rich mix of inputs from Sales Marketing Finance Retailer Replenishment and syndicated data sources like Nielsen giving you a frontrow seat to the full commercial ecosystem. Youll be the strategic bridge between Demand Planning and the Sales/Commercial teams ensuring that insights turn into action.
In addition to deep demand planning experience were seeking a candidate with strong expertise in statistical models and forecasting tools who can challenge customise and continuously improve those models. This role requires the judgement to understand when to rely on the algorithmand when to override it based on insight and experience.

JOB DUTIES:
Develop accurate demand forecasts and maintain planning tools to support supply and inventory decisions
Collaborate with Sales Marketing and Finance to understand demand drivers and align forecasts with business needs
Challenge customise and continuously improve statistical demand forecasting models and planning tools applying expert judgement to determine when algorithmdriven forecasts should be adjusted based on business insight and experience
Lead crossfunctional alignment meetings and provide input for new products transitions and promotions
Analyse forecast performance identify trends and deliver reports that support strategic and operational planning
Deliver reliable customer demand forecasts that enable the company to plan effectively and meet market demand
Strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing between planning sales marketing and finance teams
Drive continuous improvement in forecasting methods and systems helping the organisation anticipate customer needs and optimise supply chain performance
YOU MUST HAVE:
5 years of experience in Demand Planning or a closely related field
Strong background in statistical analysis and data-driven forecasting within complex high-variance environments with a clear understanding of financial and operational impacts
Strong expertise in statistical forecasting models and demand planning tools with the ability to critically assess model outputs and confidently override algorithms when required to improve forecast accuracy
Excellent analytical organisational and decision-making skills with the ability to prepare and deliver clear impactful presentations
Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process. Good facilitation skills are required
Proficiency in English is required
WE VALUE:
Experience with advanced forecasting tools and analytics platforms (e.g. o9 SAP/APO Manugistics Oracle Demand Planning)
Familiarity with statistical modeling techniques data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Python R)
Strong business acumen with an understanding of how demand planning impacts supply chain inventory and financial performance
