Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) was founded as a 501(c) (3) non-profit medical institution in 2005 aimed at increasing access to health care in medically underserved areas of the Pacific Northwest.

The University currently offers the degrees of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Doctor of Physical Therapy Doctor of Dental Medicine Master of Arts in Medical Science and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy enrolling over 550 students annually with plans to develop other programs and/or colleges. Interprofessional education partnerships with other universities adds another 100 students to the population. The campus includes 300 employees with academic programming spread over a five state region.
PNWU is located in Yakima WA a city of approximately 95000 located in the south central part of the state near the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains in a major agricultural and outdoor recreation region. The student admission assistant will assist with outreach activities associated data entry and campus tours for all academic programs and services at PNWU.
Essential Job Functions:
Communicate basic facts of all academic programs (MAMS DPT MSOT DMD and DO) and university services (in-person phone email text) in a positive and professional manner. Answer questions or direct participants to admission/recruitment team for follow up.
Perform data entry of outreach activities into CRM system prepare materials for recruitment events and participate in annual recruitment events
Lead campus tours for the Office of Enrollment Services Admissions & Recruitment for prospective and incoming students as needed basis 1-3 tours per week during peak seasons. Highlight facilities services and student life of PNWU to tour participants.
Performs other related duties as assigned and based on departmental need.

Ability to clearly articulate and address questions about all academic programs; ability to take initiative and lead individual and group campus tours; ability to communicate in a positive and professional manner; ability to apply effective and accurate data entry and typing skills; ability to work some evenings and weekends; and kill in effective communication (both oral and written)
