Job Summary
COLSA Corporation is hiring an Autonomous Systems Data Scientist to join our Uncrewed Systems division to design and deliver data-driven solutions through the application of interdisciplinary methods spanning machine learning advanced statistics data engineering and research techniques.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs analysis of data systems such as Big Data systems
- Supports the development of automated reporting and data products including TAK Automated After Action Reporting leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and large language models such asLLaMA LLaVA and LlamaIndex.
- Evaluates and optimizes algorithms to improve performance scalability and integration within operational environments.
- May perform statistical analysis and provide input for reports and dashboards
- Involved with the development of data products reports and dashboards or other display techniques
- May apply advanced statistics including natural language processing and machine learning to create solutions.
- Contributes to the creation of reports dashboards and visualization tools; performs statistical analysis; supports data modeling and virtualization efforts
- May assistin data modeling and data virtualization
- May write code to preprocess and clean data
