Job Summary
The Catherine Cutler Institute at the University of Southern Maine in partnership with the Maine CDC is seeking a Project Manager Epidemiology.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in project management including management and monitoring of contracts fiscal reporting hiring processes project administration exceptional communication organization and time management skills as well as familiarity with and ability to work within the Universitys organizational systems and structures.
This is a grant funded position with a starting annual salary up to $ can be a remote or hybrid position working out of our Portland location.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Masters Degree and five to seven years of experience managing projects or equivalent combination of higher education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large projects and budgets over $1 million with multiple funding streams.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative to identify and propose new tasks and procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work on a variety of large and small teams with diverse groups of people.
- Flexibility in meeting the varied needs of a large team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
