As a Regional Marketing Specialist you are responsible for developing and executing the omnichannel marketing plan for the Nordics region and a few additional business units of which the most important one is Battery Supplies.
You translate sales product category and market priorities into an effective (digital) marketing plan and implement it. You act as the specialist in all marketing domains and platforms- ranging from creative content creation and digital marketing to trade fairs and events - ensuring you monitor performance to continuously learn and optimize. You are comfortable navigating a diverse and complex stakeholder environment keeping focus on activities with the highest impact and showing the necessary influencing skills to do so.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Marketing Plan
Strategic Planning: Translate global & regional sales and product category plans into a localized strategy that resonates with the market.
Ownership: Act as the single point of marketing contact for your region owning the marketing action plan and managing the allocated act as a peer in conversations with Regional Sales Management.
Market Intelligence: Develop a deep understanding of the Nordics market and Battery Supplies business unit including trends competition and customer network structures.
E-commerce Focus: Develop and execute an e-commerce-first strategy for the Nordics region ensuring the right content is delivered at the right time for maximum impact.
Regional Campaign Execution
Omnichannel Execution: Develop and execute impactful omnichannel campaigns to grow the business and create customer loyalty. You ensure the tone of voice is culturally appropriate and commercially effective for the audience.
Creative Asset Coordination: Translate marketing objectives into clear creative briefs for design teams. You will act as the primary point of contact for the production of digital print and multimedia assets providing strategic oversight and feedback to ensure all creative deliverables meet their intended objectives.
Event Management: Organize and actively participate in local sales events tradeshows and customer visits to strengthen the brand and expand the customer database.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external agencies (e.g. PR & advertising agencies) to ensure marketing efforts directly support sales targets and regional growth priorities.
Collaborate closely with Centers of Excellence & Marketing Excellence to integrate customer-centric strategies into regional marketing plans.
Performance Monitoring
Analysis: Analyze track and report on the performance of marketing activities using available dashboards. You use these metrics as the basis for marketing plan changes and decision-making.
Optimization: Continuously adapt your approach to maximize ROI customer growth and profitability within your region.
Project management
Super-regional and multi-regional projects: You lead super-regional projects as well as operational multi-regional projects. You occasionally test and support the roll-out of new feature launches and platform enhancements.
New products and services: you support our Electronics department in bringing new services to market by rolling out a curated marketing plan mainly consisting of smaller fairs advertising and marketing assets.
How to succeed / Your profile
Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience preferably with a focus on B2B e-commerce and digital marketing.
Languages: Fluent in spoken and written English; knowledge of Dutch and a Nordic language is a plus.
Marketing Expertise: Solid understanding of marketing strategy tactics and best practices. You are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously from digital campaigns to physical events.
Tools: Hands-on experience with marketing tools and software such as Selligent Salesforce Drupal Wordpress and Tableau.
Travel: Willingness to travel a few times a year to engage with customers and business stakeholders.
Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret marketing metrics to assess campaign performance and profitability.
Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to provide structural feedback and push back when needed.
Agility: You approach challenges with a positive attitude ensuring quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
