Job Summary

2026 Paid Summer Internship:

The Commerce Bank of Washington a division of Zions Bancorporation is currently seeking College/University students to fill summer internship positions. The internship is a paid full-time in-person position located in Seattle WA and is part of an 8-week program.

The Internship Programgives students the opportunity to gain valuable and practical work experience in their majors explore the banking/finance industry and learn aboutour culture and business philosophy.

Each intern will gain exposure to various departments allowing students to experience several areas of banking and explore different career alternatives and choices. Duties include but are not limited to: conducting industry research preparing client prospect lists assisting with credit presentations and observing the process of spreading financial statements and underwriting loans.

The internship experience also includes several networking events with executives and other managers around the Bank professional development and training sessions case studies overviews of various areas of the Bank and social events

The combination of hands-on assignments programmed trainings and events provides each intern with a well-rounded summer experience.

Commercial Lending
Accounting
Credit Administration
Customer Service
Investment
Operations
Treasury Management

Qualifications:

College students pursuing a Bachelors degree in Finance Business Accounting minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
Detail oriented strong analytical organizational problem-solving and time management skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Team player with ability to think independently.
Quick learner with self-confidence and willingness to makerecommendations.
Effective Customer Service verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of professionalism.
Working knowledge of MS Office including Excel Word and PowerPoint.

This position is eligible to earn a base wage of $22.00 hourly.

Work Location:601 Union Street Suite 3600 Seattle WA 98101

Hours:8-5 PM Monday through Friday excluding Banking Holidays.
