Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Unarmed Patrol in Bellevue WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. You will support access control points respond to alarms and/or reports and provide professional customer service through clear communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures access control requirements and security-related protocols within a commercial office property.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior common areas parking areas loading and delivery areas and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner using de-escalation techniques and following post orders and emergency response guidelines.
- Monitor building activity through visual observation and available systems documenting unusual conditions violations of site policies and incidents in daily activity reports.
- Coordinate with property management engineering staff and local emergency services when needed assisting with tenant support crowd control and incident documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
