Fitter Welder
Pay: $23$25/hr (based on experience)
Location:Northeast Tulsa
Shift: MondayFriday 5:00 AM 3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview
We are hiring 8 Fitter Welders ($23$25/hr) to help build a core team.

This is a large well-established fabrication facility in Tulsa offering steady hours long-term work and strong growth potential.

If you are a skilled Fitter Welder or Structural Welder ready for immediate work this is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable Tulsa fabrication shop.

Structural Welder Requirements & Testing
Weld Test Includes:

3/8 Carbon Plate MIG root pass Flux fill & cap
Bend test
24 T-Plate Test 4G position

Fitter Welder Requirements & Testing

20-question fitter knowledge test
Cut a hole in a plate
Bevel pipe
Fit pipe to plate
Properly set a coupling or weld an outlet

Required Experience & Skills

Structural MIG (GMAW) welding experience required
Experience welding structural steel components
Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols
Strong knowledge of weld quality penetration and appearance standards
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Perform welding on vertical structural joints
Weld per specifications and quality standards
Maintain weld consistency penetration and structural integrity
Follow safety procedures and shop production schedules
Work efficiently in a fast-paced fabrication environment
