Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret project plans blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform the task at hand.
  • Perform MIG TIG stick and flux-cored welding on various metals including stainless steel galvanized steel and aluminum.
  • Ensure work is done safely efficiently and meets quality standards.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment such as plasma cutters grinders and hand tools.
  • Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Clean and maintain work area and equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder.
  • Welding certification (such as AWS or ASME) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good physical condition and endurance.
  • Must pass a welding test.

Physical Demands:

  • This position requires working outdoors in various often extreme weather conditions including rain snow heat cold etc.
  • Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions as safety permits.
  • This position may also include exposure to loud noises dust debris and other construction-related hazards
  • The ability to lift push pull or carry objects up to 50 lbs.
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • The ability to work in various weather conditions.
