PositionOverview
Under the guidance of the Site Supervisor the Summer CampCounselor plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care and memorableexperiences for our campers.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision to school-age children (K6th grade)
- Lead and assist with planned daily activities games and enrichment programs
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Maintain a clean organized and welcoming program environment
- Care for program equipment and supplies
- Build positive professional relationships with children and their families
- Serve as a positive role model and uphold YMCA values
