Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in New Orleans LA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with Allied Universal policies applicable laws and post orders including maintaining required licensing and following firearm handling and use of force guidelines.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including disturbances medical situations and fire or alarm conditions and request additional assistance as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property including lobbies corridors parking areas and perimeter points documenting observations and reporting maintenance or access control concerns.
- Complete daily activity reports incident reports and log entries and communicate security-related information to site management and/or public responders when required.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card/license is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
