The Arts &Crafts Camp Leader is a vital team member dedicated to providing a safeengaging and enriching camp experience for children in grades K6. Under theguidance of the Site Supervisor this role leads creative activitiessupervises campers and fosters a positive supportive environment where everychild can express themselves.
Responsibilities
Provide directsupervision to campers (K6th grade) to ensure safety and well-being
Plan and implementengaging arts and crafts activities
Encouragecreativity self-expression and confidence
Prepare organizeand maintain program supplies and materials
Keep activityareas clean safe and organized
Build positiveprofessional relationships with campers and parents
Model YMCA corevalues: caring honesty respect and responsibility
Qualifications
Experience workingwith school-age children
Background orstrong interest in art crafts or creative programming
Strongcommunication and classroom/group management skills
Ability to managemultiple children in an active camp setting
Energeticpatient creative and team-oriented
