Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to perform and support the higher risk standard Financial reporting and control activities required each month quarter and year-end as well as supervise the execution of lower risk activities.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Support most aspects of accounting management (billing collection reconciliation payments tax forms intercompany process reporting etc.)
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with Global guidelines and official requirements
- Manage journal entries invoices etc. and reconcile accounts for the monthly and annual closing
- Cash Flow management and analysis
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Participate in preparation for the annual audit and work with external auditors and advisors
- Review the companys accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
- Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records
- Supporting the formulation and implementation of control systems within the organization.
Requirements and skills:
- BSc/BA in Accounting Finance or Economics.
- Professional certification (CPA) - MUST
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting firm or a company as an Assistant Control.
- Fluent in English and Hebrew
- Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations
- Good knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting financial closure reporting etc.)
- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting
- Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software
- Well-organized with ability to prioritize to work effectively and independently
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
