Inviting applications for the role of Controller USGAAP & Statutory Manager Hebrew Hybrid Netanya

In this role you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information building strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and supporting various financial projects.

Responsibilities

Ownership for the trial balance of one site (entity) on USGAAP and peform Statutory activities (Statutory adjustment audit support financial statement preparation)

Understand the business activities of the site owned from close perspective.

Build strong partnerships with multiple stakeholders across functions by leveraging communication skills

Review manage and co-ordinate the various finance teams (Genpact and other finance functions such as TAX and STAT) activities including closing reporting and account reconciliation cycles ensuring high quality and timely delivery of financial information

Own specific complex closing processes based on the agreed scope which are not dedicated to Genpact teams and other finance functions and need to be performed in the controllership team

Prepare material journal entries to ensure closing quality implement process

Clear Edit Checks as well as Suspense Balances

Support STAT Audit

Own and co-ordinate account reconciliation process completeness check of account reconciliations for the management entities in scope

Complete reporting tasks (numerous DR CR reports) on a monthly and quarterly basis in a timely manner and in high quality and respond to queries from US HQ

Ensure that internal controls and checkpoints are in place and followed

Co-ordination and review of complex transactions and confirmation of the accounting treatment in Cross-business Schedules (CBS)

Complete Balance Sheet analysis during and after the close on a quarterly basis by gaining knowledge of end-to-end processes and Business activities

Liaise with Financial Planning & Analysis Statutory team on financial forecasting and closing compliance and various other topics

Provide proactive support on various R2R related projects (e.g. simplification system changes new policies implementation)

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

At least 5 years experience in accounting finance

Strong experience in accounting and audit/finance and proven ability to operate in a diverse operational and cultural environment is essential

Strong analytic skills and Controllership mindset

Knowledge of US GAAP

Fluent English

Excellent communication skills: experience with working with multiple stakeholders functions and regions and ability to deliver message effectively both verbally and in writing.

Advanced computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word) and ability to learn how to use other internal and external finance applications

Ability to quickly adapt to changes

Ability to prioritize workload and show clear commitment to meeting reporting deadlines

Able to work and influence stakeholders in a matrixed organization

Able to communicate complex business issues in a clear concise manner

Deep understanding of end-to-end financial processes

Participated in simplification projects process improvement projects

Project management skills and techniques (for status tracking prepare presentation summarizing outputs etc)

Change agent helps the process to transform by focusing on effectiveness improvement and development.
