Rate of Pay: 12.79 - 16.53 per hour
Summary:
The Mobile Estate Warden is essential to maintaining safe clean and welcoming environments for residents across Runnymedes housing estates. This is a proactive mobile role that combines high-standard cleaning basic grounds maintenance and health and safety monitoring. As a key point of contact for residents and contractors you will help foster community pride and ensure that communal areas are free from hazards and litter.
Responsibilities:
- Execute a high standard of cleaning in communal areas including sweeping mopping vacuuming window cleaning and clearing bio-hazards. Perform basic grounds tasks like weeding and leaf clearance.
- Conduct regular risk assessments for trips and hazards. Monitor communal utility meters and report necessary repairs or compliance issues to the relevant teams.
- Act as the first point of contact for residents escalating concerns to office staff. Provide site access for contractors and support resident events.
- Act as eyes and ears on the ground identifying and escalating potential safeguarding concerns regarding vulnerable adults to the Senior Area Housing Manager.
Qualification
- Proven track record in professional cleaning and manual handling tasks.
Essentials:
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace specifically COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
- Understanding of Data Protection confidentiality and Safeguarding protocols for vulnerable adults.
- Experience working directly with members of the public or vulnerable individuals in a community setting.
- A clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for mobile duties across the borough.
