RQ00551 - Software Developer - Full Stack (C#.Net/ JavaScript)

Downtown Toronto Ontario (505 University Avenue) Hybrid: 3 days in 2 days remote

Contract (10 months to start with high possibility of extension)

Seeking two experienced Core Developers to support the modernization of a legacy Case Management System. The successful candidates will migrate existing functionality written in Classic ASP/VBScript into a modern .NET Core architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Modernize and rebuild legacy Classic ASP/VBScript components Core
Develop backend components using C# Entity Framework LINQ SQL Server
Build responsive UI with HTML5 CSS/SASS/SCSS JavaScript jQuery Bootstrap
Analyze legacy code and implement modern equivalents
Use Visual Studio as the primary development environment
Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality maintainable solutions

Must Haves:

5 years Analyze legacy code and implement modern equivalents
5 years of hands-on experience with technologies
5 years Strong experience with C# .NET Core and Entity Framework
5 years Solid SQL Server experience (queries stored procedures optimization)
5 years Experience with Classic ASP / VBScript migration

Nice to have:

Government experience
