We are currently seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team and help us bring our brand to life through visual storytelling.

Position Overview:

As a Video Editor at Thesalonhype you will be responsible for creating and editing video content for various platforms including social media website and advertising campaigns. You will work closely with our marketing and creative teams to bring our brand vision to life through compelling and visually appealing videos.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos that align with our brands aesthetic and messaging

- Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects

- Use video editing software to add music sound effects and other visual elements to enhance the overall quality of the videos

- Ensure all videos meet brand standards and are delivered on time and within budget

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our video content

- Manage video files and maintain an organized video library

- Provide creative input and ideas for future video projects

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in film video production or related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing

- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or Avid

- Strong understanding of video production processes including shooting lighting and sound

- Knowledge of current trends and techniques in video editing and motion graphics

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Passion for beauty and lifestyle content
