As a Security Officer - Patrol Operations Post in Newtown PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech media and telecom location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations communicate clearly with site contacts and respond to concerns with a customer-first approach. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients employees contractors and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas including offices corridors parking areas and perimeter points noting and reporting unusual activity and/or conditions that may help to deter incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and local emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points by observing arrivals and departures verifying authorization when required and assisting with visitor directions and/or sign-in processes per site policy.
• Complete timely security-related reports and logs document patrol activity and incidents and communicate updates to supervision and/or site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
